Mayor Ernst presided over the session and called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. with the following members present: Carnine, Cates, Bargar, Fineran and Rupert.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to approve the amended agenda with the addition of Berne Co-op claim for $1,802.58, second by Cates. On unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to approve the City to provide fiscal sponsorship for the Ida Grove Chamber of Commerce in their grant application on the flagpoles in Harold Godberson Park, second by Council Member Cates. On unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Carnine to approve the City to provide fiscal sponsorship for the Ida County Agricultural Society in their grant application to upgrade and convert the livestock scale at the fairgrounds, second by Council Member Cates. On unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to approve the consent agenda, second by Council Member Cates. On unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to accept the $8,018.84 MTBE payment, second by Council Member Fineran. On unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Carnine to approve $75 donation to Ida County Empowerment for their Kids Fest event, second by Council Member Rupert. On a unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Council Member Rupert to approve $100 donation to the BCIG After- Prom Party, second by Council Member Carnine. On a unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Carnine to approve having the stumps in the City Park removed for $263.75, second by Fineran. On a unanimous vote motion carried.

By general consensus the Council approved the payment of $1,802.58 to Berne Co-op. The claim will be included in the Claims Report for the next meeting.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to adjourn, second by Council Member Bargar. On a unanimous vote motion carried.
