Mayor Ernst presided over the session and called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following members present: Cates, Rupert, Carnine, Bargar and Fineran.

Motion by Council Member Fineran to approve the agenda, second by Council Member Carnine. On a unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to accept Stephen Sholty’s bid for $5.00 a bale for mowing hay at the airport, city well site, and flood control areas noting all areas will be mowed twice unless abandoned due to flooding if it occurs, second by Council Member Fineran. On a unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to approve Nelson & Rock Contracting $92,200 bid for repairing flood damage on the Badger and Odebolt Creeks, second by Council Member Fineran. On a unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Cates to follow City Ordinance 6-1.0016 Maintenance Owner’s Responsibility on maintaining and repairing the corporation cock, water service pipe and curb stop, second by Council Member Fineran. Call for votes: Yeas: Cates and Fineran. Nays: Carnine and Bargar. Abstaining: Rupert. Tie vote. This will be placed again on the agenda for the next meeting.

Motion by Council Member Carnine to approve the City as sponsor for staff enrolling in vision insurance with monthly insurance fees deducted from their salary, second by Council Member Rupert. On a unanimous vote motion carried.

Motion by Council Member Rupert to adjourn, second by Council Member Fineran. On a unanimous vote motion carried.
